I was reading a book called "the gift giver" and these were the titles of the 4 chapters. I wanted to capture the inspiration the book had on me so I spent a week composing these little songs. I let them sit for a few years and just recenlty opened them up and add arrangements to them. They're earthy, raw, and hopeful.
